Description

This listing is for a test pressing of the Classic Records 33 1/3 RPM 180 gram reissue of Charles MIngus' classic album Mingus Ah Um mastered by Bernie Grundman with the initials BG in the deadwax. Being a test pressing it is in a generic white outer sleeve that only has the Matrix Number of CS-8171A2/B2 and the Date of Apr 23 1996 on it. The labels are white and side 1 has the same info as you can see from the pics. There are spindle marks on the label which were there when I purchased it sealed, so I figure it was listened to while Classic Records evaluated the masterings. The vinyl and generic outer sleeve are NM-. The record plays perfectly on my VPI Classic 2 turntable with a Soundsmith Zephyr III cartridge. 
Please note that I only ship to US addresses. International buyers can use the eBay Global Shipping Program if they desire to bid on this record, however I have no control over the rates. The record is in a MOFI sleeve and was cleaned on my VPI 16.5 using the Audio Intelligent 3 step system with the Super Cleaner. The record will ship outside the generic outer sleeve in a spare sleeve to avoid seam splits..
