Description

Rare Chicago blues recorded live "old school" on Maxwell Street at the corner of 14th and Peoria in September 1964. Authentic street sounds, laughing, crying, car horns and shouts of encouragement can all be heard on this classic recording. Features Nighthawk, acknowledged as one of the greatest slide masters ever, on vocals and guitars, Johnny Young on guitar, Carey Bell on harp and Robert Whitehead on drums. Textured cover and inner sleeve are intact and show some age but no wear. Vinyl is pristine. Nighthawk was the music at Muddy Waters first wedding.
