Description

COLUMBIA SAX 2548? 2 One Sided Test Pressings Debussy - Jeux - Poeme Danse                    Images For Orchestra Andre Cluytens / Paris Conservatoire Orchestra XLX 1075 22C XLX 1076 21 Normal matrix numbers for SAX recordings are YAX so I don't know if these are original or later. Please decide for yourself. Original EMI inner has the matrix number XLX 1076 - 21 with the date 26/2/64 which is presumably when these test pressings were made.
These are 2 single sided Columbia test pressings. The sleeve is a mono sleeve with a factory Stereo sticker placed over the mono. Record 1.  XLX 1075 22 C Jeux Grades EX-   Looks and plays excellent but is down graded slightly due to the spindle hole being very slightly off centre. Minimal surface noise only and very occasional soft pop.                                Record 2.   XLX 1076 21 Images For Orchestra           Grades EX   Looks and sounds excellent with very little if anything to spoil playback.
