Description
"DANDY was a U.S. record label produced by the Scranton Button Company in Pennsylvania for an unknown distributor or retailer. Early issues bear purple-and-white labels; later labels are gold on black and white, or gold on red and white. Masters were drawn from the Emerson Recording Laboratories' client-label pool." source: The 78rpm Club
They were around from only 1924-1926.
Dandy 5067-A Let Me Call You Sweetheart- Wilber Ward tenor & 5067-B Bring Back My Dear Old Pal- Robert Barnes tenor solo. recorded in 1925
The rare label is in excellent condition. Please view pictures. The record shows wear and there is scuffing and light scratches. There is one deep dig that causes a repeat. See photo. I have played both sides and they both play with surface noise but everything is audible and understandable. Sounds like a typical 1920s acoustic recording.
You are not buying this for the music or the record quality, you are buying it for the rare label which is very nice. Thank you.
