Hello! Please read this description very carefully, look at and study the pictures carefully, and then please go back and do both again. They are there for both your and my benefit.

-This listing is for a very rare original double 12" LP vinyl copy of The Grey Album- the (in)famous art project by Danger Mouse in 2004.. 
Long deleted and mega hard to find, this mashes up the acapellas from Jay Z's black album with new musical compositions composed entirely from samples taken from The Beatles white album. It works very very well. This is not the more recent colored vinyl pressing, this is the original bootleg from 2004 with cat number on the runout of DM-001. I remember very clearly listing a copy of this for sale on ebay back when it was still hot news and it got me banned from ebay for a couple of weeks thanks to EMI's cease & desist campaign against it at the time! 
This is new old stock- the sleeve has some light shelf wear & marks but most importantly the records are unplayed & unmarked and removed from the sleeve for the first time for these pictures. I had several copies of this at the time of release and this one has lived in my record racks in my smoke-free studio since purchase.
Please note: the sound quality of this is interesting and is not down to a bad pressing or pressing fault (I have the original CD version for direct comparison). Given the mash up and anarchistic nature of the project, and where the source samples were taken from, it suits it very well. The sound quality of this pressing is also far better than the 'remastered' CD version floating around.

-UK recorded shipping £5. I either use Royal Mail recorded, Royal Mail special delivery, Parcelforce, Fedex or UPS - depending on value, size and weight. I do not - EVER- use myhermes, yodel, collectplus or any of the other crap services masquerading as couriers which like to destroy or lose your packages, or leave them on your doorstep, roof, or in your bin and then deny all liability. All packages are sent well packed, using either new or recycled packaging materials, and are sent signed for - no exceptions.  You are paying for the recorded shipping, my time to package, packaging materials (bubble wrap, printer ink, paper, envelopes, boxes and packing tape are not free) and the sheer mind numbing boredom of going to the post office and queuing behind the grannies.  Even royal mails most basic services are expensive, and adding recorded on to that makes them even moreso, so please no complaints about the postal charges, they are clearly stated in the listing before bidding/purchasing!
- Collection is available from Gloucestershire (J11 M5). I am perhaps willing to travel/meet/whatever and generally pretty flexible. I am in london on business from time to time. Please contact me for payment methods for paying on collection. I will also accept a cheque, but there will be a delay until fully cleared before shipping.
