Description
Very rare original 1st Japanese pressing of the superb Hunky Dory LP by David Bowie. Released in Japan in 1972 (originally released in 1971 in UK).
¥2000 price on rear cover (only on 1st pressing). Textured sleeve with Japanese track listing, etc on the rear of the cover. 72 date on rear of sleeve.
The vinyl is in great condition with the exception of one small scratch going about 1/4 or the way into side 1, track 1 “Changes”. This causes a soft repetitive click from the intro to the start of the first chorus. I have fully play tested the record and the rest of the album plays mostly with lovely clear audio. A few light crackle in between tracks and a couple of quiet sections, but this is minimal. Play grade is EX overall.
The sleeve is very crisp with no major wear except for a few small foxing marks visible on the rear. See photos. EX to EX+
Original company inner is also EX.
