Info from the internet: Recorded at Trax on Detroit's East Side Spring 1982
The Finnz were formed by Dennis Quinn (Dennis collaborated with Marshall Crenshaw), Bobby Gillespie - Guitar (Bobby was in the mid 70's reformed version of The MC5 which split-up in early 1978. By late 1978, Bobby and Johnny Angelos started the Torpedos with Mike Marshall on bass and Ralph Serafino on drums (both from the Tyner led reformed MC5 band). After Angelos quit the Torpedos, Bobby formed The Finnz with Dennis Quinn on lead vocals, Mike Marshall on Bass and Greg Calder on Drums. The Finnz split up in early 1983 when Bobby joined Mitch Ryder's band). Bobby would later go on to join Scott Morgan's (Rationals/Sonic Rendezvous Band) Powertrane with Ron Asheton (Iggy And The Stooges/New Order/Destroy All Monsters/New Race,etc), Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman,etc)
