Description
Said to be the first Beatles U.S. picture sleeve, circa 1964. Features Dezo Hoffmann's 1963 photo of Beatles on both sides. Opens at the top of sleeve, not the side. This is also the only picture sleeve issued by SWAN Record Company for The Beatles. Record plays beautifully.
Artist: The Beatles
Tracklist:
She Loves You
I'll Get You
"Don't Drop Out"
Label: Swan 4152
Format: Vinyl 7" 45 RPM
Sleeve has same picture of The Beatles of each side - black and white photo of them standing. Released: 1964.
Record plays beautifully; sounds and looks like it was never played! Although the single was originally released in September 1963, picture sleeves did not appear until the black label reissue in late 1963/early 1964.
