Description

EMI Columbia "Magic Notes" on British first-pressing, blue and silver labels SAX 2430 and 2431.  Otto Klemperer conducting the Philharmonia orchestra with Elizabeth Schwartzkopf, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and the Philharmonia Chorus.

I do not usually grade Mint but the vinyl and labels on these two records (three sides and a blank) look fabulous and I don't believe that they have ever been played-- certainly not by me. The sleeves are not mint but they are lovely to look at with gorgeous shiny colour and good laminate which is only lightly creased, grubby along the edges and rubbed at the corners. There is almost no fading or discolouration to the unlaminated parts of the nice white rear-covers. A superb copy for your collection or your turntable.

These are part of a large personal collection of 1950s,1960s and early 1970s Classical LPs I am disposing of; most in excellent or better condition; including several rarities, mainly Decca SXLs, EMI ASDs, Angel, and Mercury Living Presence Stereo:  Furtwangler, Kertesz, Oistrakh, Beecham etc. I am happy to receive wants lists if there is something you are particularly looking for.

I grade according to Record Collector Magazine standards and I think you will like these recordings as much as I do; but if you don't, and you are not completely satisfied then everything is returnable.
