Description

JIMI HENDRIX-An Autograph of Jimi Hendrix,Signed in Pencil on a slip of paper, taped to the page of a Jimi Hendrix Feature in an Original copy of a Teenbeat Annual 1969 - i came upon this item quite literally by chance when i bought a couple of old Rock/Pop Annuals/Books at a Carboot Sale and was amazed to discover the Autograph stuck to one of the pages! The Autograph has "From Gyro Club,Ilkley 1967" typed on a seperate peice of paper which has been stuck belowe the Autograph.I am not a fan/collector of Jimi Hendrix whatsoever so i can't really offer any more info about the item other than that i've had it checked with a couple of people who have confirmed that Hendrix and his band did actually play a venue called the Gyro in Ilkley at the time but as the single 'Hey Joe' had just hit the charts,too-many people turned up for the gig and as the place was tiny, the band had to leave after just a few numbers due to the venue being dangerousley over-packed.

As i have previousley stated,i am not a fan or collector of Hendrix at all and as i have no other provenance, this item is sold as seen. Both the Autograph and the Book are in Very Good Condition.
