This is one of those albums you can put on while you clean the apartment or if you just need some inspiration. It's got it all! Nice horns, loud drums, clean bass, and pulsating organ. When you add breaks and a modest 'funk' appeal, forget it, I'm sold! Believe it or not, this record is considered psych-rock. I guess that was a different time? All I know is that it's funky and the entire album reeks of dirty grooves and consistent composition. Check out the sampled "Junkshop" with the huge drum-break. So there! It's rare!
