Description
Karl-Heinz Schäfer ‘Les Gants blancs du Diable’. Original French only LP. Eden Roc ER 62501, 197?. Cover: vg++ (a bit frayed round the edges). Vinyl: vg++ (light surface marks, plus the pressing was not great on this LP & the sound is a bit hissy in places. This is definitely a pressing fault, however, & not an imperfection in this particular copy, as all of the copies I’ve ever heard of this LP have always been exactly the same).
An original LP copy of Karl-Heinz Schäfer’s incredible psych funk score to Laslo Szabo’s cult ‘70s movie. In between the stretches of muffled French dialogue, there are so many cool tunes and samples to choose from. ‘Kidnapping’, ‘Les Gants Blancs’, ‘Couleurs’, etc. The music is incredibly deep & comes on like ‘La Planète Sauvage’ Part II in places.
