Description
"The Robot" b/w "Stick-To-It-Tive-Ness" on Sonobeat Records, Austin Texas, 1969. An underrated effort from an underrated artist, this is James Polk funk at its best. "The Robot" is a chunky, mid-tempo funk instrumental with cracking drums and organ. The flip side is a super sister-funk workout with vocals by Yvonne Joseph. This record never turns up anymore. Condition: VG+++/NM. I grade to please, not to deceive. Records graded visually except where noted. We absolutely DO NOT deal in bootlegs or reissues; all records are original. We do not pull auctions early out of fairness to everyone (so please do not ask). Unfortunately I cannot accomodate requests to listen to records over the phone.
