Description
Blossom Toes: “We Are Ever So Clean”
On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!) by Blossom Toes called “We Are Ever So Clean”
It is an ORIGINAL 1967 German 1st Pressing on the “Polydor” label.
Although not the more pricey original UK release on Polydor’s Independent
“Marmalade” label this, nevertheless is the same record but was released in Germany so it has become as sought after as the “Marmalade” release.
“In actual fact” to paraphrase dear departed John Peel – this is quite possibly harder to find than the Marmalade pressing.
Blossom Toes were an English psychedelic pop band active twixt 1967 and 1969.
Initially known as The Ingoes, they were renamed and signed to manager Giorgio Gomelsky’s Marmalade label.
The original line up comprised of Brian Godding, Jim Cregan (later to be part of Rod Stewart’s backing band), “Big” Brian Belshaw and Kevin Westlake.
This is a classic example of quintessentially English psychedelia and it was voted Number 40 in “Record Collector’s” list of the “100 Greatest Psychedelic Records Of All Time” - High praise indeed.
Records in this condition are virtually impossible to find and so please be assured that what you are looking at here has been lovingly cared for for over 40 years and you will be hard pressed to find a copy in as fine a condition as this.
