  This is the deluxe edition with special packaging! Original British limited edition import pressing from 1987 in novel packaging with booklet & fold-out inner jacket. Complete set with all the various printed matter which, when set up together, make a unique , artful display box. These songs were specifically recorded for this album, so strictly speaking, this is an original release, not a compilation! Songs by The Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil, Dead Can Dance, Xymox, Dif Juz, The Wolfgang Press, & Colourbox. Very high-quality materials & design-strong, sturdy colorful paper! Highly inventive creation. This album celebrates all the noteworthy music that 4AD Records had released & the movement that it spawned. The booklet pays tribute to all the unusual 4AD releases.   COVER - VERY GOOD PLUS

  No seam splits, stains, smudges, creases, bubbles, water damage, cut-out marks, writing, price tags or color fading. No rubbing or ring wear. Nice reflective gloss on cover. Hardly any corner banging. Unblemished side spine is perfect: fully readable. Deep rich color. Top spine has a one & a half inch area with a few light punctures holes & two quarter-inch cuts caused by cat scratches. Fairly insignificant marks. Label looks really fine. Sharp cut hole free of spindle brushings.



  PRINTED MATTER - MINT

  No stains, tears, scratches, scuffs, creases, color fading or any other blemishes on the booklet or inner jackets. . Truly fine condition.



  DISC - NEAR MINT

  We give great importance to grading our items accurately. No pits, stains, skips, warps, abrasions, shiver scrapes or residue on the disc or dead wax. Each side a a very light quarter-inch fleck. Album has been safely stored upright in climate-controlled conditions.
