"The Ballad Of John And Yoko\Old Brown Shoe" - Rare Israeli Beatles record from 1969. No doubt that this laminated cover is one of the most desirable Beatles covers which were ever printed in Israel. It's got a beautiful picture of the fab four from their "Mad Day Out" photo session (July 28th 1968). As far as I know this cover is unique to Israel only! it isn't easy to find it in a nice condition because not many bought it back then in 1969 (the vinyl market in Israel in those years was very small and the Israeli fans prefered to buy full albums instead of 7 inch records). This cover was pressed in Israel in no less than 4 color variations for the borders on the left and on the right: blue-red, blue-orange, green-yellow and green-orange. They are all very rare! Please notice: The cover that I'm offering here is the blue-red one! For some reason my scanner changed the red border to an orange border. For the avoidance of doubt: the cover that you see in the pictures is the exact cover you'll get and it has blue-red borders (the red border in the picture turned into orange border due to a problem with my scanner!). If my explanation isn't clear enough, don't hesitate to ask me any question you like. The catalogue number is R 5786.

Condition:

Cover: The laminated cover looks VG+ to EX-. Front cover: Even though the laminatiom looks perfect in the pictures it has some wear in a few areas, still nice front. Back cover: Nice and quite preserved. A little bit of wear, but nothing serious. There are no seam splits, no cuts and no tears! Please look at the pictures, they tell all the story. 

Record: The record looks and sounds VG to VG+. The Apple labels are in great condition. The record comes with a nice original Israeli EMI nylon inner sleeve.
