Description
Rare - Jack Bruce Boxset 4x Vinyl Albums RSO – 2658 143 German Pressing 1980
From my own personal collection bought new and lovingly cared for ever since.
I was and still am a massive fan of the music of JACK BRUCE and bought the boxset as soon as it was released in 1980 and treasured it ever since.
JACK BRUCE Jack Bruce (German limited edition 4-LP box set including Harmony Row, Out Of The Storm, Songs For A Tailor & Things We Like, each in their own ORIGINAL picture sleeves housed in an amazing silver signature embossed white box.
All 4 vinyl's are in pristine condition and are NEAR MINT as is SIGNATURE WHITE BOX.
Covers are immaculate apart from Songs for a Tailor - The Box came with a square yellow foam insert designed to protect the albums. Over time this foam has reacted with the lamination of the top album (Songs for a Tailor) causing a rippling effect across the cover. (see pics)
Since unpacking box set (been in storage for a number of years) and taking pics, the thin yellow foam packing has started to deteriorate and break up. Will make sure albums are securely packed but not using the deteriorated foam.
Labels are very clean but there is a crease on Out of the Storm Side 1 (made during manufacture - see pics)
Overall Grading for complete set (Using Goldmine Grading*) - STRONG VERY GOOD PLUS
GOLDMINE Very Good Plus (VG+)*
The item will show some signs that it was played and handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Any defects are of a cosmetic nature and do not affect the actual playback. In theory, a Very Good Plus (VG+) item should sound the same as a Near Mint (NM) one. Surfaces may show some signs of wear, such as slight scuffs or very light scratches, and slight warps that do not affect the sound are okay. Paper products like sleeves will have some wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a small seam-split. In general, it plays perfectly, and if not for some minor aesthetic wear, it would be Near Mint.
