Description

Very Rare original "Jackie Shane Live" LP on Caravan Canada #FP1000 (69?/early 70's?) Cover M- (very slight crease on front) & Wax:M- Like New! You will not find a better copy! Crazy LP by transvestite vocalist Jackie Shane backed by Canadas heaviest funk players. Personnel: Frank Motley (Chip Dip), The Hitchikers, Curley Bridges and King Herbert. This is a "Live" LP (or they wanted you to think that?) and the recording is great, the tunes are funky and there is some good vocal interludes that are ripe for sampling! Tracks are: Dual Trumpet Bounce, High Heel Sneakers, Knock On Wood, Money, Raindrops, You're The One, Don't Play That Song, Papa's Got A Brand New Bag and Any Other Way.
