Description
LED ZEPPELIN - LIVE AT THE LA FORUM 25TH MARCH 1975, LP 12" Vinyl Album, Limited Edition Of 10, A Porky Prime Cut Record, Very Rare.
This is number 6 of a Limited Edition of only 10.
This is "A Porky Prime Cut" which is the name used by legendary record engineer George Peckham.
He was once the singer and guitarist with the Brian Epstein managed 1960s group The Fourmost. George Peckham left the group to work for Brian Epstein's Beatles when they opened the Apple studio in 1968.
He started his career in disc cutting as a trainee at Apple in 1968 and his signature can be found in the dead wax/runout grooves of many a rock, punk, post-punk and new wave record pressed in the UK. He was a British mastering engineer, better known as "Porky" (as in "A Porky Prime Cut") with an illustrious career that includes work on catalogues of The Beatles, Genesis and Led Zeppelin.
This is a recording from the 25th March 1975 at The Forum, Inglewood, USA. It was the 2nd night of 3 and the penultimate show of the tour.
The date of "25-3" (25th March 1975) is written on the inner sleeve, possibly when produced, to indicate the day of the recording for this record.
This will be posted in the UK as a Royal Mail Signed For.
