Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
RARE Westminster flat edge, deep groove MONO vinyl LP XWN 18229 - released 1956
EX vinyl retains like new shine and gloss with no play or handling marks; likely unplayed prior. Play test on NAD C555 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue Cartridge revealed mostly crisp, clear analog sound with occasional light, vinyl inherent surface or ticks. Overall, a quality pressing. VG+ cover has some shelf wear, small stub upper right corner and a bit of rear panel and edge discoloration consistent with age.
