Description
Some heavy hitting modern jazz Lp collectables going in this week, my own collection so lovely condition rarities mostly. Check my ebay store!. Rare Limited edition as stated on the labels 1995 Capitol All Analog mastering by Wally Traugott I believe of The John Coltrane Quartet Plays Chim Chim Cheree etc. These came out to compete with or compliment the highly regarded Blue Note Connoisseur series, 30 years back, but then became more desirable because of the 2008 fire which destroyed quite a lot of the master tapes to Impulse lps. This series was overseen by Michael Cuscuna, whose approach was always quality at any cost, and gave us some of the best reissues in the history of Jazz in his Mosaic series. 180 gm vinyl, lovely quality inners and sound that deserves a good cart. Fully Near mint played once or twice LP in audiophile sound in a Near mint sleeve
