Description
Howdy folks....I recently purchased a mega collection of Arizona 45's and after spending some time sorting through all of them for upgrades and missing titles, I'm ready to offer these desert biscuits to the world. I'm starting at the top of the list with some pricier items, but not to worry, the price will be lowered until sold. Lots more to list....Let me know your wants. Next up: Rare, Original, Mint- copy of THE OUTCASTS titled "People" (2:01) b/w "You're Teaching Me" (2:12) on the Sola label #12. Arizona Garage Rock Psych from 1966. They sing a hot garage psych tune "People" backed by the equally raw "You're Teaching Me." This is a great garage psych number with an excellent fuzz guitar break. Condition visually M-, vinyl & labels. Looks unplayed. Original Arizona Garage Rock Private Press. You can see and hear "People" on a You Tube clip. There are only three Popsike listings of this disc. This is a 7" 45 rpm record with original sleeve. A beautiful copy! See scans.
And now some history....Recorded at the Viv Studio by Loy Clingman in 1966. The group was: Rick Taylor-vocals & rhythm gtr.; Ted Hutchinson-Lead gtr.; Joe Hutchinson--Bass; and unknown Drummer. "You're Teaching Me" is on boot LP "60's Rebellion 14" The record was pressed (300?) at Wakefield Manufacturing in Phoenix, in August of 1966, House #sjw 8681.
Now is the rare opportunity to add this HTF Viv/Sola Garage/Psych platter to your collection.
