MOONLYTE - Better Late Than Never Rare Private Pressing Vinyl LP Record Album ASTRO RECORDS (LP-217), 1974 LONG OUT OF PRINT As I continue on my trek towards old fartdom, I'll be listing a lot of my way cool books, LPs, 45s, CDs and music-related memorabilia on eBay in the coming months, so be sure to check back every once in a while, won't you?
Here’s an amazing original LP pressing from Moonlyte. I bought this beauty way back when and never removed the shrinkwrap! The jacket is in overall excellent condition. The vinyl is very good w/ nice shine. Good luck finding another copy anytime soon. Don’t dilly-dally on this one ‘cuz it won’t last long!
This is the only album released by Moonlyte, an obscure but excellent late 60's to mid-70's band comprised mostly of Cuban-American musicians from the Union City, New Jersey-area. Apparently only 2,000 copies were pressed and are very hard to come by today. Never reissued.
The music on Side One is Latin-rock based, with a great deal of acid-rock, soul, and funky grooves thrown in. The fuzz-guitar work is particularly noteworthy. Side Two is a more laid back Latin-sound perhaps trying to appeal to local radio for airplay.
I’ve included LARGE images above for your grading needs.I often include several shipping methods so upon check-out please choose the one that’s best for you. As with many of our Bay items, this lot is sold with no reserves! If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Be sure to check out all of the other neat items we're currently offering on eBay!
