- For sale probably one of the most beautiful version of the Sonatas and Partitas by one of the greatest french violinist who ever live . She is totally forgotten today and that's a great mystery to me . Her playing is like she want to say a word in every corner of the sound , every phrases seems meaning somethings mysterious and deep . It's a stroll inside de fugues . Anti-intellectual playing , moving and inspiring like the old poets of the bow in the old time ...
About this recording and Bach she said :
" Bach impose une rigueur instrumentale de chaque instant et il suggère en permanence la possibilité de jouer en calligraphie - les pleins et les déliés , lisibles sur le texte original , offrent à l'archet une sensation de mouvance et de poésie pure entièrement dédiées à l'instinct ( ... ) Je laisse mon imaginaire me porter sans plus me soucier de l'instrument . Mon interprétation de l'oeuvre , quoique précise dans sa conception , tient compte de l'acoustique et de l'instant présent , de manière à privilégier mes interrogations et mes certitudes . "
" Bach imposes an instrumental rigor at every moment and he constantly suggests the possibility of playing in calligraphy - the ups and downs, legible on the original text , offer the bow a sensation of movement and pure poetry entirely dedicated to the instinct ( ... ) I let my imagination carry me without worrying about the instrument . My interpretation of the work , although precise in its conception, takes into account the acoustics and the present moment , so as to give priority to my questions and my certainties . "
