Description
Rare New Zealand pressing of the EARLY BEATLES recordings at POLYDOR, originally backing Tony Sheridon and billed on the 1962 Issue as "The Beat Boys", this Copy is the 1964 re-issue Philips NZ made, renaming the Artists to cash-In on the Beatles successes. A Side: "Ain't She Sweet" (vocals by John Lennon) c/w "If You Love Me Baby" (vocals by Tony Sheriton) - the 1962 Issue was a Tony Sheriton release so sides reversed in the '62 copy. Cat. # NH52317. Made in New Zealand by Philips NZ Ltd. The record looks hardly played with only one "manufacturing" flaw [which wil be played right though without any affect] on the A Side. A small name has been inked on the Orange Labels with a red biro so hard to see on A side - EX-EX-. The original Polydor sleeve is showing it's age and has a slpit bottom and 2 tears repaired but is colour-fast. We will supply this item in a clear plastic sleeve so the original look remains without further damage - VG-.
