NORTHERN SOUL AUCTION
ARTIST: EDDIE SPENCER TITLE: "IF THIS IS LOVE (I'D RATHER BE LONELY"/"POWER OF LOVE" LABEL: UK POWER EXCHANGE PX207 CONDITION: NEAR MINT
After 35 years of gathering dust on my shelves, it's time that some of these great records moved on to new homes, so good luck to all bidders.
This is an ORIGINAL UK record - please see scan above. "If This Is Love" is one of the most popular Northern Soul tunes of the last few years - both the Precision's version and Eddie Spencer's. Quite simply a magnificent slice of Detroit Northern Soul whichever version you prefer. This one is almost Near Mint but I'm grading at Very Good+ to be on the safe side. A MONSTER of a tune! Happy bidding! Here's a clip:-
