This is Ric-Tic 114, Edwin Starr, "HEADLINE NEWS/HARLEM. This is a classic Northern Soul sound, from 1966. See description below.
I owned a record store, which specialized in Oldies, Hard-to-Find, and Collectible records, in 1970s and 1980s. I purchased lots of collections during that time, from DJs, collectors, and record label reps.This record is part of the inventory which I retained, when I sold the store, in 1987.
The recording clips you hear are from this disk loaded from turntable to soundcard. No filters were used. The record is graded visually and audibly VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS. The vinyl is actually Near Mint, but the DJ put his stamp on it, and the record rep put two red marks on the A-side. The flip side has several clicks.. Just listen to the sound clips, to hear the quality. The volume control button, on the mp3 player, is just to the right of the time window.
