TITLE: What's It Gonna Be b/w It's No Secret
CONDITION:
Labels: Show some light staining, mostly on the A Side
Record: Looks Mint- but Side A has some weird heat warp(?) bumps at the end of the side. A small section is on a small section of the last grooves but most is on the dead wax. They do not affect play at all and Side A plays Mint- You do hear some rumbling when the tone arm rejects and the needle travels over the bumps. / Side B has some light surface scuffs and starts off w/ just a little background surface noise but quickly settles into a Mint- play / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Nice white label promo copy of this rare & great Northern Soul 45 produced by Al Schmitt & Paul Robinson, written by Jerry Ragavoy & Mort Shuman. The B Side is a cool uptempo version of the Jefferson Airplane classic. Comes with an original RCA sleeve.
This 45 came from a recently acquired cache of mostly Mint- unplayed 60’s & 70’s records, mostly white label promos or with promo identified labels. I’ll be listing a new batch every week in the upcoming weeks & months.
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records !
