Description
This is Ric-Tic RT-110, REAL HUMDINGER-PROMO. This is number #112 in Kev Roberts book, "Northern Soul Top 500." The flip side is I AIN'T GONNA DO IT. I owned a record store in the 70s and 80s. We dealt in Oldies, Hard-To-Find, and Collectibles. I purchased lots of collections during that time, from DJs, collectors, and record label reps. This is from the archived collection of Dave Calef, of Keene, New Hampshire, who began as a DJ while still in high school. He also began Vanguard Productions during that time. He currently does TV NEWS productions. You can google him and even see a photo of him as a very young DJ at the local radio station. The record is NEAR MINT MINUS. I hear a slight click near the end of the clip. The record rep put red grease pencil marks on the plug side, and Dave put his logo stamp, his file number and the date--APR 9 '66. Just listen to the sound clip, to hear the quality. I have not used any filters. It is just the way it sounds coming off the turntable. The volume control button in the player, is just to the right of the time window.
