Description
Up for possible bids is a rare old 10" 78rpm ONE OF A KIND recording utilizing the acetate portable recording discs technology of the time. I assume the recording was made at a Sacred Harp sing somewhere around the Tuscaloosa Alabama area as that is where I was told the record was obtained. A FRIEND WHO HAD THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT PUT THE TWO SIDES ON A CD WITH SOME OTHER OLD SACRED HARP 78'S OF MINE AND WINNER WILL RECEIVE A COPY OF THIS CD. Record still has a shine somewhat and does have some wear. Sound quality is still enjoyable There is some flaking but NO FLAKING IN THE RECORDED AREAS.! I assume the selections are from the Denson Book and the titles are as follows Side one 441 Raymond Notes and words 168 Cowper words Second Side is 89 Churches Desolation notes and words 57 Christian Soldier Words. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK! FREE SHIPPING VIA USPS MEDIA MAIL WITH TRACKING. PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN THREE DAYS OF AUCTION END. I SHIP WITHIN 3 DAYS OF RECEIVING PAYMENT. MANY THANKS FOR LOOKING!
