Description
RARE ORIGINAL UK LP - "This Is Merseybeat Volume 2"(Oriole PS 40048) MONO. Released in 1963, this rare album contains tracks from such legendary groups as Faron's Flamingos("Shake Sherry"), Earl Preston & The TTs ("All Around The World"), Rory Storm & The Hurricanes ("I Can Tell"), The Nomads ("My Whole Life Through") etc etc. As the title of the LP implies, similar to Volume 1, these were all groups centred around Liverpool at the onset of the "Beat" era - circa 1963. The vinyl is generally in VG+ CONDITION, with a few surface "lines" which don't affect play, plus one minor surface scratch that gives off the very odd minor "click" during play, BUT NO SKIPS, JUMPS etc!! The sleeve is more EX-, with some slight damage to the lower rear flipback and some minor handling marks. Overall, not a bad copy of a rare item - I am also selling "Volume 1" this week. Due to a recent increase in bogus bidders, I have to inform bidders with 0 Feedback that I will automatically cancel their bids, unless I am contacted by that bidder prior to any bid being placed. I always try to be accurate about my descriptions and grading, but on the very rare occasions that there is a mis-grading, I ALWAYS offer a full, unconditional refund. My records are always sent by 1st Class Post, protected within TWO cardboard “stiffeners”, and then placed in a professional standard Mailing Envelope, specially designed for either 7” and 12” records. If you have any questions about this record, or any of my items, please do not hesitate to contact me. Happy to oblige!! As usual with my items, there is No Reserve, and a low starting bid price. Thanks for looking in and Good Luck should you decide to bid!!
