Description
Here is your chance to own a rare original piece of Rock & Roll history and the record that started it all. It is the very first record that was recorded and released by ELVIS PRESLEY on Sun Records #209 ("That's Alright"/"Blue Moon of Kentucky") This record has been valued part of my collection for 40 years and was acquired from the original owner who purchased it in Memphis when first released in July 1954. Do not confuse this as being one of those knock-offs or reproductions that you so often see listed here. This is an ORIGINAL. Record grades at VG + and does not have any skips, scratches, chips, cracks, warps, or blemishes and contains the correct push marks from the original factory pressing. Priced far below the value listed in the current editions of the Goldmine, Osborne, and Warman's Record Guides. Has consistantly out performed the stock market many, many times over and can only be expected to increase sharply in value. After 55 years, not many still exist or survive in this condition. No ultimate record collection is ever considered complete without a copy of this record. If it were not for my present financial situation, I would never consider offering this for sale after all these years. Can be considered a "steal" at triple the price.
