Uncle Funkenstien - Together Again on R&L records. Ultra rare jazz funk original. 1 of only 500 ever pressed (and this one was personally signed) by Russell Webster (Composer and Tenor Sax) on 9/3/1984.

Record 1

This record, whilst visually graded as ‘EX’ (there are no marks or scratches and there remains a nice glossy sheen to both sides), is subtly warped.

When played on my Technics 1200mk2 plays through both sides without affecting play and is hence still graded as ‘EX’. - There are no skips or jumps or noticeable impact on the playability of both sides. Be aware though, that whilst this may be the case for me, played on a different record player the same playback performance can not be guaranteed. There is of course the possibility that this could be ‘flattened out’ using one of the professional techniques available on the market.

Record 2

This record looks the same as record 1 (there are no marks or scratches and there remains a nice sheen to both sides) and plays the same, if not better. It has a much less significant warp than record 1, suggesting the item suffered its heated experience whilst stored, so that the exposure to heat was experienced more by record 1.

Listening to this album is a pleasurable, no, awesome experience, and if I wasn’t watching the record spin I’d be none the wiser to its ‘character’!

Cover:

Conservatively graded as VG+ (see images - crease in front bottom right corner, probably from when Russell picked it up to sign it 36 years ago! Sticker residue in front top right corner, no seam splits though!)

Grading:

NM - Looks unplayed or perhaps played just a few times. The cleanest grade I give and very rarely used.

EX - Very light surface marks often from the inner sleeve that do not affect play. Perhaps a very light tick or brief moment of barely audible surface noise at the very worst. Overall a very clean record.

VG+ - Light surface noise during a quiet moment or two. Might play with a few light pops here and there but nothing sustained over more than a few seconds.

Shipping within Australia is $20 for this LP (tracked and signature on delivery), and $7 for any/each additional LP.

Everywhere else in the world is $35 for this LP (tracked and signature on delivery) and $10 for any/each additional LP.

Double LP's count as two records when shipping.

For International Shipping: Shipping fees only cover shipping from Australia to the destination country. Any and all taxes, dues and fees are at the expense of the buyer.

Shipping: I will keep a copy of the Australia Post receipt in all instances as verification that I have sent the item. No insurance is provided on the basic shipping prices, however, it can be added if requested, at an additional cost to the buyer.

Shipments will typically be made within 5 days of the receipt of payment (Paypal only please).

Packaging - I will use standard record mailers, or hand made, for single vinyl and larger boxes for 2LP, 3LP etc. Please contact me if you have packaging requirements that are more extensive - there may be an additional charge depending on your specifications.
