Original & rare,Phil Spector's 'A Christmas Gift For You' 1963 vinyl LP. Mono. PHLP-4005.
This rare and inconic album is from my private collection and is an original 1963 USA pressing. In my opinion the best Christmas album ever released. Well recorded and produced and arranged, by one of America's top record producers for some of America's top R & B Artistes of the 1960's, The Ronettes, The Crystals, Darlene Love, Bobby B.Sox & The Blue Jeans. They do an amazing job of singing & recording some great Christmas songs, which are still being played around the world today.There is a scratch on Side 2 which goes across tracks 5,6, & 7, and a small surface mark on Side 1,across tracks 5 & 6, but it plays ok. It comes in a plain white paper inner sleeve. The whole record plays and sounds just as good now as it did in 1963.
The sleeve; is printed on good quality semi-gloss thick card which is in very good condition back and front & on the spine, no writing, major tears or splits. The is a very small damage to the cover on the bottom right corner (see images), which has been repaired with invisible tape. All in all in very good condition for its age.
