The playing surfaces of this record are in excellent condition. In examination under bright light it can be seen there are no scratches or scuffs of any kind. In fact the surfaces look as though the record has not been played at all. It was not played more than two or three times since whereas I was an avid collector of jazz I used to do most of my listening to live music. I used to see Harold McNair whenever I could, and living in London that was frequently - and as good as recordings may be, they are no substitute for most live jazz performances. The cover is also in very good condition with no edge wear. My records have always been vertically stacked and there is a slight discolouration patch on the sleeve from an abutting LP which may come off with a of light detergent.

If I have an interested bidder's direct e-mail address I can send high resolution images of both side of the sleeve and both playing surfaces, so please let me know.
