Description
This is a 2 l.p. vinyl pressing titled Crooked Cops by The Police from Melbourne, Australia from 3/16/81. I read that this was poor to fair as far as sound quality but I just played one side & the sound is great. I have some fan club l.p.'s that are fair to poor & this is no comparison. Tons of great tunes ! Set List: Intro (Muppet Show), Voices In My Head, Don’t Stand So Close To Me, Walking On The Moon, Deathwish, Fallout, Man In A Suitcase, Bring On The Night, Backstage Interview, De Do Do Do De Da Da Da, Truth Hits Everbody, Shadows In The Rain, When The World Is Running You Down, Driven To Tears, Message In A Bottle, Roxanne, Cant Stand Losing You, Be My Girl, So Lonely, Interviews. The cover of this l.p. is VG. Someoe used clear tape to tape a picture of The Police onto the back cover that they cut from a newspaper. There is a 1.5 inch tear under the picture that goes to the jacket opening. Looks like the names of the band members were written in ink on the back cover under the band members photos that are printed on the cover. The vinyl has a few tiny pressing faults but I didn't hear anything when I played the record. Most of the l.p. play EX but at times I heard some low level background noise. These types of pressings are known for that. Overall I'd say a grade of VG++ would be accurate. On one label someone wrote Intro-Muppet Show in pencil.
