Description

MELOTONE-6-02-65 Blind Gary Davis “Great Change in Me”/”I Belong to the Band, Hallelujah!” in V- condition.  One of Blind Gary Davis’ best recordings, both sides start a bit rough but then clean up nicely because the guitar and vocal is so strident above the wear of the grooves. The inspired guitar picking at the end of “Great Change” is particularly evident on this copy.  There is a small edge flake of “Belong to the Band” that goes in five grooves but fortunately ends just before the playing starts.
