Description
Artist: Chris Spedding, Heavy Metal Kids, Smokie, Donovan Title: RAK sampler Album (Promo) Label: RAK Cat No: PSLP 239 Year: 1977 Country: UK
I am in the process of selling my Record Collection, I always purchased the best copies I could find and looked after them carefully. Some I only played once. This is a VERY RARE Promotional release by RAK records to promote their artists in 1977 (probably no more than a few hundred ever pressed), the track Delirious by The Heavy Metal Kids is one of the best ever tracks from the New Wave Era and was never released on their albums, it comes in a single brown card sleeve - Matrix: Side 1 - PSLP 239 A1 Side 2 - PSLP 239 B1
Vinyl (EX+) Under bright halogen lights I can only see the lightest of sleeve removal scuffs Sleeve (EX+) - Single Brown Card sleeve (Please see photos for complete overview) Labels: 1 or 2 visible spindle lines (Hardly Played)
I am in the process of selling lots of obscure & rare Records/CD`s, I will be posting regularly why not check them out!
I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover
I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)
Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
