Description
Very rare original 1958 UK shellac pressing of La Bamba by Ritchie Valens.
R/T tax code on labels.
Matrix numbers -
Side 1 (La Bamba) - MSC-3185-1J
Side 2 (Donna) - MSC-3184-1J
The record is has a few fine surface marks and a couple of light scratches. These have little to no impact on the sound and it plays really well. A little background hiss on run ins but nothing out of the ordinary for a 78 record. Side 2 (Donna) has a few small pitting marks, possibly from production although these don’t affect the sound.
The sleeve is a generic card sleeve.
This will be very carefully packaged before shipping or collection in person welcome.
It will be packed between two thick card stiffeners, then bubble wrap, then placed in a much larger box with packing peanuts around an inch on all sides to prevent shattering in transit.
