Description

 

Cracking rare Up - Tempo RnB Dancer by JIMMY TOLIVER titled " HOOTCHIE-KOOTCHIE-KOO " / " WHO DO YOU LOVE " released on T and T 001 WLP . This is a great Up - Tempo Dancer with strong lead male vocals and a great backing track with guitar , piano and horns throughout with a great sax break. A great hard to find dancer that has had plays on the scene in the up-front RnB rooms. I love this underplayed  record that sounds great in a venue nice and loud.

  L.A. pianist Jimmie Toliver and His California Blues Men made thier debut single in the the late 50's and by the early 1960's , Toliver had formed his own record company T & T which released 3 singles including " Hootchie Kootchie Koo " . The band included the veteran guitarist Edgar Rice , who had played with The Nelson Alexander Trio in the late 40's and early 1950's.

Vynil VG+ / VG has a few light marks and scratches on the top side , swirl marks on the flip ( looks like Juke Box wear )  plays great . Labels clean with no tears or stickers see scan .
