Description
This is your chance to win this amazingly Rare pressing of Led Zeppelin II commonly referred to as the Robert Ludwig Hot press contains the original US mix with the absolute best sound. Superior to all other presses of Zep II.

Side 1= T ST - 691671 -1A RL SS
Side 2= T ST - A - 691672 -D SS LH
The story is that Band wanted a really loud and punchy sound to exert through the vinyl. So leave it to mastering pioneer himself "Robert Ludwig" to develop what would be one of the most dynamic lps in history. The only problem was at the time technology was not yet good enough for turntables to be compatible to the new dynamics. So long story short people thought the album was defective and was quickly replaced by Atlantic.
Leaving a first pressing of this album to be extremely rare to find.
Cover: Very Good, This is fairly conservative to the overall condition but the cover is ripped on the top left corner leaving the gatefold in a rather unusual shape still the thick cardboard cover with some aging scratches and stains. Look at the pictures other than the rip it looks quite nice. A very small name is written on the inside gatefold in ink pen.
Vinyl: Plays Very Good overall, once again it's a bit ruff tons of small scratches but it's rare in any condition. At least one or two feel able scratches. On side 1 track 4 It skips for a rotation or two. Side 2 track 1 also skips for a few rotations. I think a really nice clean would take care of most of the damage. No loud clicks or pops when the music is loud which is most of the album it is barely noticeable. Sounds much more remarkable than it appears.
Overall it is still a nice piece to have in any Led Zeppelin Collection. I wouldn't be selling this record if It wasn't rare. That's why it is one of Zeppelin's rarest US releases. You might just be surprised how good this record sounds even in this condition.
