Description
Up for auction is an original Very Rare Rockabilly 45 of F. D. Johnson on Jan label # JP6 - 58A. The titles are "Be My Baby" b/w "Great Big Moon". This is on the Jan label out of Marshall, Missouri. "Be My Baby" was one of the cuts on the Rockabilly compilation CD entitled "Missouri Rockers". The vocal is by F. D. Johnson and is backed by "The Missouri Valley Boys". This record has everything a good rockabilly record neeeds: A great vocal, a thumping beat, and an excellent guitar break. The number in the dead wax on "Be My Baby" is 45 JP. 658 A 184. Any Jan record is collectible, but this is probably the hardest one to find. The condition of this though is only G with scuffs and scratches. It does play better though than it looks. It would play out at VG. It has slight wear to the label, but still very good. There is a high reserve on this, but for anyone who appreciates Rockabilly music, this is one of the best.
