Description
Here is an original pressing rockabilly 45 rpm you don't see very often. CLIFF DAVIS and his KENTUCKY PLAY BOYS "Hard Hearted Gal" b/w "You're Asking My Forgiveness" on BANANA 501. This is the rarest of Cliff Davis' tunes and one heck of a rocker. Fast rhythm guitar and drums with great guitar and fiddle breaks throughout the "A" side, with a slower country tune on the flip. The record looks VG+ but plays much better with just light surface noise - no loud pops or ticks or deep scratches but just scattered light scuffing (was found in a box with other unsleeved records). Has a nice clean, bold sound. The "A" side label has some pen ink scribbled around the label (see photos), otherwise, the labels have some light wear and some light circular stain wear but nothing too serious. The record is safe in a nice protective sleeve awaiting a place in your collection. This is a rare one your rockabilly collection should not be without!
Please see my other auctions for additional rare 45s for sale. I will be adding more titles through the next few days, so keep checking back. Shipping is $5.00 Priority Mail in the U.S.A. International bidders add $8.00 for International First Class. I will happily combine shipping costs at a reasonable amount ($1.00 for each additional record) for winners of multiple items. Insurance is optional for U.S. bidders, so I will include it as an option in your ebay invoice.
Thanks for bidding, and good luck!!!!
