Description

Great rocker from 1958 with Ivan doing "Real Wild Child". Ivan is Jerry Allison, Buddy Holly's long time drummer using his middle name of Ivan to record this song. The band had recently come back from a tour of Australia and heard Johnny O'Keefe the originator of this tune performing it on their tour together. When they got back stateside Allison headed to the studio to put down his take on it. Iggy Pop famously did a version also. Buddy Holly on guitar on this one. Condition is a nice VG, some light surface scuffing throughout, but plays awesome. Labels as shown. Original copy with a stamped matrix, not a boot or repro.
