Description

SHELAGH MCDONALD – Self Titled

(Rare UK Original on B&C, # CAS 1019 from 1970)

Label/Sleeve -> Textured Sleeve printed at E J Day Group of London and Bedford. Original Blackish label with Green B&C logo.

Matrix # Side 1/2-> CAS 1019A-2U / CAS 1019B-2U

Grade (Cover/Vinyl) -> EX- / Excellent(-)

Description -> Vinyl is in nice shape and plays with terrific fidelity, nice sound with very little background crackles. Under lights I can only see paper sleeve marks. Cover has a light overall wear and creases. NO writing and No Splits. (See picture).

Extremely Rare Brit Folk Pysch record from this lady nicknamed "Black velvet". She only did 2 Lps before she disappeared for 3 decades and surfacing again last year. Reminds me of a rockier Sandy Denny with some lovely subtle touches. If you like Trees, Fairport Convention, Jade and the likes, this one matches those albums in its appeal and quality..

Also worth finding is her Stargazer LP.

My grades are VG/VG+/VG++ or EX-/EX/EX+ or NM-/M-/Mint (SEALED)
