THIS 33 1/3 rpm album is STILL SEALED,a 1975 PRIVATE PRESSING of only 1500 done by MOONBEAM PRODUCTIONS out of Raleigh,North Carolina,having a catalog number of 111775,the FIRST ISSUE of this much sought after female jazz vocal album.The LP album is titled SUBWAY TOKENS by legendary jazz vocalist Carol Sloane.This is the original third album done by Carol Sloane (Two are very collectible on the COLUMBIA label)The liner notes read,"the new recording has been culled from various live performances over the years at two Raleign clubs-The Frog & Nightgown and Cafe Deja Vu-located in the Cameron Village Subway.Hence the title "SUBWAY TOKENS".This is a great "live" jazz vocal lp that is very hard to find and this first pressing has not been opened.A simple web search will bring up information on Carol Sloane.NOTE:I have more than one copy of this album so the one in the picture may not be the one you get but it will be just like it.My research has found very few copies of the album available,and none that are stiil sealed,I suggest getting one while they last.
