Description
This is an original first pressing of the classic album, actually self-titled, but universally referred to as "The White Album" by THE BEATLES (Apple Records SWBO-101 - 1968).
Although this is generally a very common album, this copy is very special. Please note:
1) The album cover is in practically NEW CONDITION, in pristine shape, with ORIGINAL SHRINKWRAP. That's right - NO RINGWEAR, NO DAMAGE TO THE CRISP, FRAGILE COATED WHITE PAPER STOCK. The only slight blemishes are two streaks on the back cover near the opening, probably erasable.
2) The Poster and 4 photographs are MINT, AS NEW.
3) Uniquely, the ORIGINAL PHOTO BACKING SHEET is included. This is a green sheet that sits behind the four portrait photos to protect them from wear while inside the sleeve. This is incredibly rare to have been preserved!
Pressing Edition: Original green apple label logo, with "(Recorded in England)" on front, and small Capitol logo along perimeter print on back side of label. The number on the front cover is 2565167.
Condition: Very Good Plus discs. Bright and shiny, with some dust, couple of storage smudges and surface streaks. Very attractive overall.
