THE SMITHS - MEAT IS MURDER
VARIETY - 1988
Up for sale this rare white labeled test pressing of the Meat Is Murder lp made in Uruguay, that comes in an exclusive Variety white promotional cover and includes paper sheet from label. This one was found at an old Uruguayan radio station warehouse CX4 RADIO RURAL
Cover is EX with just negligible wear, looks nice. Record is also EX, shiny wax shows few sleeve scuffs, plays fine all through. Paper sheet comes folded in 4 and it's in nice condition with bottom right corner cut.
A side label shows some yellowing which is probably the result of impromper storage. Record and jacket were stored in different places, jacket was luckier as it was inside a protective box but record was lying at the bottom of tons vinyls that were poorly stored, fortunately it was inside a blank jacket and this helped to protect vinyl surface but the poor storage left its traces on the A side label. B side label looks clean. Radio station ink stamp on both (CX4 RADIO RURAL) (see pictures). No 20 of this one...this is the last one!
there is no point saying this again but it was found as it is in an Uruguayan Radio Station, nothing fishy big mouth!
