Description
Incredibly rare. Only 20 produced. This is number 18. Never put into production as a 45 rpm by Classic Records. This is Quadrophenia in all its glory - well almost - there is no A1 disc as specified on the box by Classic itself. This is a 7 LP set with the first three songs missing that normally appear on Side One - I Am The Sea, The Real Me and Quadrophenia.
This set starts with A2 Cut My Hair and continues from there. I don’t know why A1 wasn’t included. Maybe a pressing issue. You won’t find this on Discogs in this format. Classic only produced a 33 version. This is pressed at 45 on Clarity S.V.P. vinyl 200 gram single sided discs.
The sound is phenomenal!! Most Classic presses are and this is no exception. A shame there is no A1 to complete the album but even without those three songs the album shines. Super rare and priced to reflect the scarcity. Be one of only 20 people in the world to own this.
Vinyl is NM as I opened this new and played once. I would consider it Mint but as it’s been played once I feel obligated to use NM.
Jacket actually has a ding in the corner which is how I received it. The box has a slight corner crush that resulted in the jacket ding. Could have been a shipping issue but I believe it happened further back as this has been in other hands before mine. As stated this was sealed when I bought it and opened by me and played once.
