Description

RARE NORTHERN SOUL

MIXED SUGAR

"IT'S A BAD FEELING"
"FIFTEEN AIN'T YOUNG NO MORE"

F.G.S. LABEL BY BIG WILLIE MUSIC IN 1974
#423

I haven't been able to find much info on this group or label on line and it doesn't appear in any of my price guides. . Arranged by Regional Garland who also takes songwriting credit on both sides and sings lead on one. Really cool 70s group soul sound. B side has male lead with female back up, horns and guitars, nice uptempo sound. A side has a female lead and backup with some unusual spoken parts, funky guitar and horns. Visually glossy NM, plays really nicely with minimal noise..

I did find where one like it sold for over $1000 in 2007
